    AP. Ts. Dr. Liew Kai Bin is the head of department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Industry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Cyberjaya (UoC). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Master in Science (Pharmaceutical Technology), and Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmaceutical Technology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He served as community and industrial pharmacist prior to joining the academia. He has experience in various pharmaceutical related fields including research and development, product development, bioequivalence study, analytical chemistry, regulatory affair and public health pharmacy. He constantly engages in the development of pharmaceutical and traditional medicine industries in the country. Dr Liew is also a registered professional technologist with the Malaysian Board of Technologist.

     He has published more than 80 publications in international journals and books chapter. He was awarded national and international grants that worth more than RM 500k. He has been repeatedly invited as speaker to deliver speeches in various countries such as Japan, India and Indonesia. He has also supervised research projects for both undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. Dr Liew’s research product has won several outstanding, best innovation, gold and silver awards in international exhibitions including Malaysia Technology Expo and International Innovation and Technology Expo.
     Apart from teaching and doing research, he is also actively involved in community service and professional development programmes. He was the counselor in public health campaigns organised by the pharmacy students. He was the organising chairman for a few international workshops and seminars during his tenure in UCSI University. He was also awarded as the Best New Lecturer by UCSI University in 2015.

    J. Warren Salmon, Ph.D. is Professor of Health Policy and Administration, School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He was formerly a Professor in and Head of the Department of Pharmacy Administration, College of Pharmacy; Professor of Public Policy Analysis, College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs; and Professor of Medical Education, College of Medicine at UIC.  Professor Salmon's research interests have focused on the corporatization of medicine and pharmacy, managed care pharmacy, urban health care delivery, comparative health care systems, global pharmaceutical industry developments, alternative and complimentary medicines, and selected health policy issues.  He edited Alternative Medicines:  Popular and Policy Perspectives (Tavistock/Methuen/Routledge, 1984); (with Jeffrey W.
