After graduation I started to work at Medical University of Silesia, where I completed my PhD thesis on genetic polymorphisms in coronary artery disease. Selected risk factors for development of arterial ischemic stroke in children were also in the area of my scientific interests. Besides, I am also interested in diagnosis and treatment of other neurological disorders in children: schizencephaly, headache, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Nine years ago, when I moved to the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology I started the research concerning the technology for the manufacturing and optimization of micro- and nanocarriers of active substances. In addition, I am involved in analyses of rheological parameters of semi-solid preparations.

Research Interest: developmental neurology, neuroscience, genetics, pharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology, biochemistry

Grants: I participated in a multi-center Polish scientific grant and in several academic grants. In 2017, I was a supervisor of a grant of Medical University of Silesia regarding the release of active substances from semi-solid bases.

In 2010, S.J.Mehraliyeva defended her dissertation on the topic "Development of the technology for obtaining medicinal forms from some multicomponent plant assemblies and studying their biopharmaceutical properties", in 2011 she received the diploma of Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy, and in 2014 she received the scientific title of associate professor.

Sevil Mehraliyeva is a member of the "Problem Commission on Pharmacy and Chemistry", 224156-Specialized Council for master's defense in "Pharmaceutical technology". He participated in the congresses held in 2020-2022, including training on Good Clinical Practice and received a certificate. In February 2022, he completed an internship at DAYTAM, Atatürk University of the Republic of Turkey.

Sevil Mehraliyeva made oral presentations at conferences held in the Republics of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Turkey during the period of her scientific research and was awarded certificates.

For the first time, Sevil Mehraliyeva developed immunotropic granules based on various phytocompositions, dental gel with anti-aging effect, anti-aging cream, anti-seborrheic shampoo, microcapsules for the treatment of atherosclerosis, anti-acne niosomal gel technology, and was awarded Azerbaijan and Eurasian patents (2017). -2022).

Since 2020, Mehraliyeva Sevil Jabrail has been working on her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Development of technology for obtaining nano-forms of medicine based on raw materials of natural origin".

According to the subject of his doctoral dissertation, he developed the technology of extraction from deer antlers grown in Azerbaijan for the first time. The technology of obtaining nanocapsules for the treatment of Alzheimer's, nanoemulsion and nanogel for the treatment of osteoporosis on the basis of this extract and the acquisition of an Azerbaijani patent in this field belong to Sevil Mehraliyeva (2021-2024).

In 2023-24, Sevil Mehraliyeva carried out the method of separating the actinide enzyme, which accelerates the digestion process, from the Chinese actinidia fruits grown in Azerbaijan and the microencapsulation of this enzyme.

Sevil Mehraliyeva also performed the technology of separating rutin from Japanese sophora buds and hop cones and preparing phytosomes based on rutin. Based on these phytosomes, the preparation of phytosomal gel with an effective effect in the treatment of periodontitis and the study of quality criteria were performed by Sevil Mehraliyeva (2024).

Research Interests: pharmaceutical technology, phyto- and animal medicinal technology, nanotechnology, nanocosmetology, nano- and micropharmaceutical medicinals, biopolymer technology, new drug delivery systems, including stomatological drug delivery systems.
